Research on Energy Management of a Virtual Power Plant Based on the Improved Cooperative Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

Energy management of virtual power plants (VPPs) directly affects operators’ operating profits and is also related to users’ comfort economy. In order provide a reasonable scheme for scheduling each unit the VPP improve VPP, this study focuses on optimization energy under premise ensuring flexible load users. First, loads are divided into time-shiftable (TL), power-variable (PL), interruptible (IL), their accurate consumption models established, respectively. Then, aiming at maximizing operation operator, an model considering user proposed. Finally, improved cooperative particle swarm (ICPSO) algorithm applied solve proposed model, optimal obtained. Taking in coastal area China as example, results show that article has advantages good economy higher comfort. Meanwhile, ICPSO characteristics faster speed accuracy when solving problem with multiple variables.
